<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Just </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">5 days</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> after this humiliating attack, on </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">June 6, 2025</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">, Russia deployed its </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">rarest and most powerful TU-160M</span><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> ‘</span><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Blackjack</span><span data-preserver-spaces="true">’ </span><span data-preserver-spaces="true">bomber</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> for the first time in a </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">combat mission</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">.</span></p>

<h2><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Major</span><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> change in air strategy</span></strong></h2>
<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Ukraine&#8217;s </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">drone attacks</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> forced Russia to replace its old aircraft </span><span data-preserver-spaces="true">like</span><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> the </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">TU-95</span></strong> <span data-preserver-spaces="true">with</span> <strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">ultrasonic, stealth-capable, high-speed bombers</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">. By deploying the </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">TU-160M</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">, Russia made two things clear:</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">It can quickly </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">recover its losses</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">.</span></li>
<li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">It is now ready to use its </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">nuclear-capable card</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> in </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">conventional warfare</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> as well.</span></li>
</ul>
<h2><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Why the change in strategy?</span></strong></h2>
<ul>
<li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Ukraine&#8217;s </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">drone attacks</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> are hitting </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">deep</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">.</span></li>
<li><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Low cost, high damage</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> — this drone strategy was rendering Russia&#8217;s </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">larger and more expensive aircraft</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> useless.</span></li>
<li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Russia needed a </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">faster, longer-range, and less risky platform</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> to preserve its </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">air strike capability</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">.</span></li>
<li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">The </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">TU-160M</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> was the </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">answer</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">.</span></li>
</ul>
<h2><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Conclusion: Drones vs. Bombers</span></strong></h2>
<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Ukraine&#8217;s </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">drone strategy</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> forced Russia to </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">review its conventional aerial doctrines</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">. It is a perfect example of </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">asymmetric warfare</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">, where the </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">weaker side challenges the stronger side through technology</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">.</span></p>
<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Now that Russia has </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">fielded the <a href="https://warfarenews.org/russia-unleashes-tu-160-bomber-in-combat/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TU-160M</a></span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">, the question arises: </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">is it enough to stop drone attacks?</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> Or will Ukraine adopt an even </span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">more advanced drone strategy</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">? you can follow our website and social media like facebook,twitter,medium etc for latest updates</span></p>
